I'm baaaack! :D

For the whole day yesterday, I accompanied the parents and grandparents to Batu Pahat, Johore, since I was being such a good daughter and granddaughter (haha!). Basically to visit Nyayi Unyil and Nek Mlah since anyway we only see each other for once or twice a year. Actually the plan was to Melaka with mom's side lah but Aidah was not well and all so that resorts to going BP with grandpops.

As usual, we'll stop by Tong Ah coffeeshop for breakfast cum lunch and I've got to admit that that place is very antique what with the pictures hanging on the walls. We never ever fail to stop by that shop if we're heading to BP, wooh.

Walked around the market nearby and off we go to Nyayi's house!

Now who says kampung don't have such a thing called swimming pool? Haha.

I was shocked by how much the house've changed. Excellent renovation. But I've got to say, the only thing that is the most important thing to renovate, is the toilet. That is, perhaps, the only inconvenience hah.

Together with Nyayi, we headed to Nek Mlah's house and the first thing that attracted my attention was the cats! One was pregnant and kept going inside the house which Nek Mlah too kept asking the granddaughter to chase it out since they're scared it'll gave birth inside the house lol. So yeah it was pretty much a fun time taking pictures there and eating kampung food :D

Not long after that, we went back to Nyayi's house and there I had fun slacking around taking pictures (though not much, only 30, cos of the batt. sigh, what a loser) and yeah, spending time enjoying the kampung lifestyle. There was more kampung food and duriaaaans. Fresh from the tree, yo. I've even gained experience opening the durian. Told my mom that I so need to do something tmr (today) since NAPFA's tmr and I've been eating like nobody's business. She replied, and I quote, "Nevermind lah, this kind of experience is very hard to come by." Well, it is trueee... lol.

I really had fun and together am touched that Nyanyi could actually still remember me. I'd expect her to confuse my name with my sis' or something but nooo, she remembered! Woo and I realised something when I turned behind and waved her goodbye in the car. Old folks are sometimes lonely and in need of company..

There are more pictures from mom's camera but shall post them right after I've found the usb cable aha. So ya'll shall just watch this space (:
